SYPE announces nominations and applications are open for the 2011 Professional of the Year award. Applications are due May 15, 2011 at noon. The nominations form are attached to this news item.
We are looking for the best and brightest professionals aged 18-35 to be nominated, or to self nominate for this great award. We are looking for young leaders who have made conscious decisions to build their futures in Saskatchewan and focus on the development of not only their own careers, but an industry, the surrounding community, and the business climate as a whole.

The entrepreneurial culture facilitated by the Progress2Capital competition will continue to grow across the province as RROC, SREDA, and Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) will partner together to hold one comprehensive celebration of entrepreneurship in Saskatchewan in a single, annual event. SYPE will recognize their top professional and entrepreneur of the year, and RROC/SREDA will award the winner of the 2013 Progress2Capital Business Planning Competition their grand prize.

Our 6th Annual READ Saskatoon PGI Golf Tournament for Literacy is a great day with fun being the focus as we raise funds to support free literacy programming in our community.
Literacy is important; more than 1/3 of Saskatchewan’s population experience daily challenges because of low literacy. READ Saskatoon has addressed this issue for over 30 years by providing free literacy programs to adults and families in Saskatoon.
