Our 6th Annual READ Saskatoon PGI Golf Tournament for Literacy is a great day with fun being the focus as we raise funds to support free literacy programming in our community.

Literacy is important; more than 1/3 of Saskatchewan’s population experience daily challenges because of low literacy. READ Saskatoon has addressed this issue for over 30 years by providing free literacy programs to adults and families in Saskatoon.

Peter Gzowski founded the first PGI Golf Tournament in 1986. Since then the tournaments have blossomed into a high profile event celebrated in every province and territory. It unites golf, music and fun and honours a worthy literacy learner through the presentation of the Learner Achievement Award.
