Saskatoon READnFeed Celebrity Auction

Each year SYPE partners with READ Saskatoon to host its annual golf tournament. In conjunction with the golf tournament, we are also involved with the Celebrity Auction which raises money for READ literacy programs in Saskatoon by having a:
1.Silent Auction – SYPE usually donates an item (books plus membership)
2.Live Auction – Celebrities are auctioned off. For example last year it featured a day with wake boarding champion on his boat on the SK River, a live concert at your home with local musician celebrities; a local chef coming to your home and cooking a gourmet meal for you and your guests; golfing with John Gormely, etc.

This committee is meeting on Wednesday morning to start putting together this year’s Celebrity Auction. It is not a big time commitment, but they are looking for volunteers to help brainstorm ideas and collect packages. The event is mainly run by the staff of READ Saskatoon, but they need assistance in putting it together.
