About Me

Elizabeth Nguyen, CA, DIFA, CFE has over 6 years experience providing assurance, internal audit, and forensic accounting services to private companies, Crown corporations and publicly-traded companies.

Elizabeth has experience in delivering professional advisory services relating to internal audit and is involved in internal audit co-source engagements and CEO/CFO certification engagements with several large local companies. Elizabeth also has experience in assisting publicly-traded companies in both Saskatchewan and Alberta with SOX 404 compliance.

Elizabeth has also been involved in numerous investigations involving employee misappropriation of assets and contract disputes.

Elizabeth is a Board member for the Saskatchewan Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Elizabeth is a Chartered Accountant and is one of only three professionals in the province who holds a graduate Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA).
The DIFA program is a two year graduate study program offered jointly by the University of Toronto Mississauga and the Alliance for Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Accounting of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. The DIFA program is designed to provide a graduate professional accountant with the skills, knowledge, insights and professional characteristics necessary to successfully respond to: 1) the challenges of investigating fraud, other aspects of white-collar crime, and other financial disputes, and 2) the provision of reports, advice and evidence to clients, lawyers ad courts for the resolution of situations relating to possible or pending civil or criminal legal proceedings.

She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina.
