About Me: Jay shares his life with his wife Sheri, and together they enjoy being entertained by their two young daughters Alexandra and Sydney, and their puppy Ginger. He is also very active on the Board of his church, enjoys spending time with family and friends, gets in as much canoeing and camping as possible, and is still an unrestricted free agent playing hockey with his friends whenever possible.

He began his career in the financial services industry as a personal financial officer at a chartered bank in 1997. His desire to work more closely with clients to achieve their financial goals motivated him to move into independent financial planning. Jay believes that people can achieve anything if they develop and commit to a plan. And he believes that by ensuring the success of his clients, he to will be successful. Jay uses a common sense approach to values based financial planning, he has an uncanny ability to explain complex financial ideas in a simple to understand format and he gets great satisfaction from helping his clients fulfill their true potential.
