Recent Bachelor of Commerce, Finance major at the Edwards School of Business with a convocation date in the fall of 2011. Electives were focused in Accounting and Economics. Awarded the 2011 Edwards School Grad Maher Award for the “student with the most involvement with the local business community as exemplified by both public relations ability and community interface".

Throughout my undergraduate degree I obtained three challenging summer student positions and one consulting position. During this time I also organized and participated in numerous not-for-profit and philanthropic initiatives including large scale events, conferences, and competitions across Western Canada.

Two year new graduate program developed to maximize knowledge of the company and skills developed within the external affairs department.

Lean Implementation/Cost Analysis Project Consultant at Yanke Group of Companies
July 2011 – August 2011 (2 months)
One month temporary term position. During this time I worked with the VP Corporate Development and Process Engineering to analyze accounting information and implement policies to maximize value from overhead expenditures.

Internal Co-Chair at JDC West 2011 Business Competition
August 2009 – March 2011 (1 year 8 months)
JDCW is Western Canada’s largest, most prestigious undergraduate business competition and is an incorporated non-profit organization with an annual operating budget of over $500,000. In January 2011 JDC West welcomed over 550 business students from 11 of Western Canada's best educational institutions, 50 industry professionals, and over 150 volunteers to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for the furthest east the competition has ever been.

Prepared financial reports and analyzed job cost data for the Director of Engineering, coordinated payment of accounts payable with the Accounting Department, and performed human resource, clerical, receptionist and administrative duties.

Edwards Business Student Society (Various Roles)
